Ready to finally pick up knitting? In this hands-on workshop, you'll learn to cast on, work the knit stitch, and leave with the foundation to keep going on your own. You don't need any experience, but you're also welcome to take this class if you just need a knitting refresher.

The first hour is guided instruction for casting on and knitting, and the second hour is up to you! You can choose to learn the purl stitch, practice binding off, start reading a pattern, or get comfortable fixing mistakes. Go at your own pace and the instructor will circulate to help. You'll leave with a take home reference guide and suggestions for beginner patterns, materials, and reference patterns.

All class materials will be provided, but it's recommended to purchase your own if you'd like to continue at home. Already have some yarn and needles at home? You can use them in class! We'd still recommend US 8 (5mm) straight needles and worsted/bulky weight yarn for beginners.
