Store Policies
Return Policy
Store credit is given for unused items within 90 days of purchase. Unwound yarn with the original label and in original condition may be exchanged or returned for store credit within 3 months of purchase with receipt. Knitting and crochet needles and hooks must be returned within 7 days in their original packaging for store credit. We do not offer returns for books, gift cards, consignment/limited items, non-stock special order items, or any sale products.
If goods are damaged in shipment from us, we are happy to send replacement at no cost. Credit for the cost of yarn or goods will be issued to the credit card or PayPal account used for purchase. Shipping charges are not refundable.
Shipping Policy
All orders are shipped with USPS insurance up to $100. Acorn Craft Shop is not responsible for packages that do not arrive. If an item is out of stock or if there is a question about your order, we will contact you via email and/or telephone.
Pickup Orders
Pickup orders are subject to our standard 14-day return policy. If you would like to cancel your pickup order for store credit, please call or email within 14 days of purchase. At 14 days and 40 days we will contact you regarding pick up orders. Orders not picked up within 60 days of purchase will be donated or returned to our sales floor as we do not have space at out shop to hold orders for extended periods of time.
Photo I.D. may be required at pickup for large purchases, or those flagged by our order payment processor. If someone else is picking up your order, please include their name in your order notes.
Class Cancellations
We are happy to offer you a store credit or refund for classes if you give us at least 48 hours notice. We unfortunately cannot offer refunds or store credit for any late cancellations. We are also happy to welcome a friend to take your spot instead of cancelling. Just email us the name of the person we can expect at hello@acorncraftshop.com.
Many of our classes have a minimum number of sign ups to run. If a class doesn't get the minimum sign ups to run and we decide to cancel, we will notify those who did sign up via email between 24–48 hours before the class's start time and offer them a seat in the next class, a refund, or store credit.
Photography Policy
When you attend a class or event at our shop you agree to be recorded and photographed during the class. If you would like to request that your face, hands, or body not be in any photos or videos that we share on social media please send an email requesting so any time prior to the start time of the class to hello@acorncraftshop.com. You may still be recorded or photographed during the class but we will respect your request that the videos or images of you not be shared online.
Minor’s Photography
We do not knowingly collect personal identifiable information from anyone under 16. If a person under 16 attends an event or class, they may be still be recorded or photographed but none of those images will be shared without masking the identity of the underage persons. If any young person or their guardian wants an anonymized image taken down for any reason, please contact us at hello@acorncraftshop.com with the link to the related image and we will be happy to comply.
