Intermediate Knitting: Hat or Scarf

This is a two-session class for knitters who've got some basics down and want to tackle a real project with support!
Sessions: Tuesday, August 11 & Tuesday, August 25, 7-9pm
You'll learn:
- to read a pattern
- fix common mistakes
- knit in the round (if you choose the hat)
- knit a hat or scarf from start to (near) finish
Choose your project on class 1:
Hat: Giving Hat Pattern
Scarf: The Simple Thing Scarf
Session 1: pattern reading (abbreviations, gauge), casting on, joining in the round, working the body, troubleshooting mistakes
Session 2: shaping/decreases (hat) or continued pattern work (scarf), binding off, weaving in ends, blocking
Skill level: Comfortable with casting on, and basic knit and purl stitches. This is not a total beginner class, but it's perfect for folks who are excited to practice and build on the basics.
Ticket includes 1 skein Fisherman's Wool
Needles are not included but can be brought from home or purchased before class
