She organizes and supports local clothing swaps, assists at Free Stores, leads mending workshops, and co-hosts slow-crafting events that give second-hand materials new life. Jessi believes clothing is central to how we see ourselves, and that everyone deserves to feel good in what they wear. At the same time, she acknowledges the reality that enough clothing already exists to clothe six future generations, while overproduction and waste disproportionately harm communities in places like Ghana and Chile.
